PS: I'm loyal to God

I was let down, it was time to grow up!
Amidst the meltdown, I loved the way you showed up
It's true, you can't serve two masters because with you, nothing else really mattered.
The Fixer!
You made me whole when I was, and felt shattered.
So it seemed

After 13 days of union
I acted like I am, I was...
... doesn't matter, I am now. But how come stuff is still the same,It even got better when I lost patience and took a different path with making better decisions.
Now my mind be up saying silly things....

Is good decisions all that matters? Was I the only one that felt our connection and enjoyed our fellowship?

I'm confused about what is and what isn't.
If you are real, why can't I feel you anymore?
Show me Dad! Show up again. You know my desire

Chapter 3

This chapter begins just after Alex had said his goodbye. In chapter 1 it was more in Alex's perspective, Chapter 2 was in Sergeant Clay's perspective and chapter 3 was in Jamie, Clay's wife's perspective. She seemed happy just like her husband about their current situation but felt a bit upset at Alex's reaction to the mention of the events of September 11, 2001.

She likened Alex's situation to the condition of her young son CJ the previous week. So CJ ran into the house whimpering about a sore spot on his toe. Jamie according to chapter 3 performed a minor surgery and few days later, CJ's toe got healed. Jamie felt this was the situation for Alex, a sore spot in his heart that she could help him tackle so that Alex heals and moves on.

Lost in this thought she was approached by Eric her husband's brother who very much resembled him. He warned her not to get involved as Alex was in good hands with Clay and Joe. Jamie listened but still had real belief that due to her similar story and background with Alex, she was the right one to help him, and also very important, she relied on God for guidance.

I enjoyed chapter 3 quite well because it revealed that all of Alex's friends or should I say dinner buddies were all worried about him and one of them in Jamie was already working on how to help him out, I also know of Clay's desire too to help but I feel Jamie would be the one to do just that.

I'm looking forward to reading chapters 4,5 and 6 next week's Wednesday, Thursday and Friday respectively. It has been a great book week and I am looking forward to connecting with everyone reading this review this weekend.

Please stay on...

Chapter 2

This chapter begins with Sergeant Clay in his home helping his wife get dinner ready. It was the weekly barbecue weekend for Clay and his wife Jamie, Eric who is Clay's brother and his wife Laura and the Reynolds who are just back together after a difficult time. Their children are all over the place having fun.

Alex walks in quite late and blames it on traffic,he came over with Bo who was outside tied by the porch.

Dinner begins and conversations go on and on until the events of 11th September 2001 are brought up. It would seem as if the events of that day had a positive bearing in the lives of Clay and his friends.

But as we know that's a sore spot for our main man Alex. He excuses himself to checkup on Bo, comes back after getting a hold of himself, everyone tries to cheer him up, his recent award is brought up and somehow leads to Alex asking questions and making suggestions about a case of an activist group that was thought dangerous. Clay as Alex's superior doesn't feel okay with the turn of the conversation to work, he makes this known to Alex and also urged him to trust the process.

What I noticed from this Chapter is that Alex's countenance upon hearing about the September 11th events cleared shows he hasn't moved on. And Clay's friends shouldn't have brought up the events knowing how it makes their buddy Alex feel

Chapter 3 would definitely make the situation clearer than it currently is

... stay on!

Remember Tuesday Morning

CHAPTER ONE

The story begins with a description of the weather of San Fernando Valley. It was hot and dry, but as usual Alex Brady didn't care. He and his dog Bo did their morning exercise drills as usual and Alex had quite a few things on his mind during the run.

He thought about the nature of his father's death and how it drew him and gave him passion and complete focus on getting the bad guys.

He thought about dinner at the home of Sergeant Clay Michaels and his wife Jamie and how much he needed to still have human contact to avoid becoming a human machine even though the thought appealed to him.

Working out so vigorously as Alex did did something to him, it made memories of a certain lady Holly Brooks fade from his consciousness.

What are your thoughts on Chapter one?
I am really interested in the Alex character, he seems strong, confident and focused. Yes I know he has had some traumatic experiences but he looks okay and he's doing okay, at least physically.

What am I expecting from Chapter 2?
I am looking forward to more information about Alex, I am also looking to learn about the circumstances that drove him to make the choices he made after September 11, 2001.

Book for the Week

Remember Tuesday Morning

By Kingsbury Karen.

I said I would be sharing lot's of stories... This is really a week of "good reading." I will however be reading a couple of Chapters from this book Remember Tuesday Morning by K.Karen. It was recommended to me by a smart friend of mine. I hope her hype for the book plays out.

 ABOUT THE BOOK

Remember Tuesday Morning introduces the reader to new characters while continuing Jamie's story in the background.  Alex Brady's father had been a firefighter. He died on September 11, 2001 when the Twin Towers were attacked by terrorists.  Alex has spent the last 7 years trying to rid the world of bad guys.  The more bad guys he can get off the streets, the fewer families have to suffer the loss of a loved one.  Alex left his home in New York.  He left his faith, his mother, and the only girl he had ever loved to move to California to work for the LAPD as a K9 police officer.  With his faithful and loyal dog, Bo, at his side, Alex cares about nothing but ridding the world of evil.

MY TAKE

I can't get wait to get to know this Alex guy and read his story, view the choices he made and see what becomes of him or should I say what became of him.

I know in an hour it will be Wednesday but truly I tell you that you would have a storyfilled week from tomorrow, i have lots of wonderful writers ready to share their work with us the Young Learners Club. I'll be speaking with a lot of them and sharing their write ups for the sake of our entertainment.

Let's engage!!!

Hello Parents,
By parents I mean parents, brothers who have sisters that are parents, sisters who have brothers that are parents, friends of friends that are parents, you know naa? You all are involved so to say, no one is left out, this message is literally for the adult community.
I write from the heart(true to God), you see this pandemic, this corona looks like its here to stay, I would relate my thoughts on that later but the matter is that I doubt schools are thinking of resuming anytime soon, even if they do I am sure 51% of you parents are not prepared to send your kids back to school with the rate the number of affected corona victims rises daily.
Schools are charging enormous amounts for online learning which is not okay given the government's charge for it to be free. Data is consumed, the power holding company sef doesn't help matters with frequent blackouts for those of us that would love to follow government TV learning programs.
I opened up a WhatsApp group where I will daily upload learning materials, test sheets, audio books, and a lot of fun and interactive learning manuals that can aid you parents in engaging your children. Our children have been home for too long and it is making them complacent in their activities (observe for yourself so you'll know) they need to be active day in day out. Not just those three days their lesson teacher comes to take them for lets say 4hours. I have serious ideas on healthy fun learning activities for you and your kids, just join the WhatsApp group and thank me later. We kick off on Tuesday 16th June 2020. Join and help me help you improve your child's academic performance, and also build up a better relationship with you and your kid.
                                                          Your Friend
                                                                Mr M.

Erm before I forget, send a message to +2347055880979 so you can added to the WhatsApp group. Byeee.
